Shipping & Delivery Policy

Order Processing & Standard Postage

  • Orders are processed during weekday office hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

  • Standard produce delivery takes 2 to 3 working days after your order is placed.

  • Produce is shipped packed unwashed via external courier services (APC or DPD) to preserve shelf life.

  • Shipping is £7.50 for produce weighing 1kg to 20kg within mainland UK. For orders exceeding 20kg, please contact us prior to ordering for a custom quote.

  • Delivery preferences (e.g., leave with a neighbor, leave in porch) must be noted in the Order Notes at checkout so we can notify the courier.

Wild Game Postage

  • Wild game is shipped frozen using a next-day delivery service.

  • Orders placed on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday are dispatched on the next working day.

  • Items are packed in insulated packaging designed to maintain safe cold temperatures for up to 48 hours from dispatch.

  • Customers must ensure someone is available to receive the package or provide clear safe-place instructions in the Order Notes. We cannot accept claims for deliveries made within 48 hours of dispatch or parcels left in safe places.

Wild Garlic Postage

  • Wild Garlic orders are delivered within mainland UK for a flat rate of £5.00 for up to 1kg.

Local Log & Firewood Delivery

  • Firewood shipping is calculated per mile from Morghew Park Estate (TN30 7LR) for one-way tipping only:

    • 0–8 miles: £1.50 per mile

    • 9–15 miles: £2.00 per mile

    • 16+ miles: £3.00 per mile

  • Access Requirements: Customers must provide a clear, unobstructed area of at least 2 car lengths for truck reversing and tipping. Log stacking services are not provided.

Delivery Addresses & Issues

  • Please ensure your shipping address and postcode are accurate at checkout. We reserve the right to adjust shipping fees if address details are incorrect or fall within a restricted delivery zone.

  • If you experience any issues with your order delivery, please contact us within 3 days of receipt at potatoes@morghew.com.
