We’re over the moon to introduce the newest member of the Morghew family. It’s been a long time coming but has felt like the most natural development in our potato story. We’ve been growing potatoes for over 20 years on Morghew Park Estate and have always wondered how our fine tubers would fare being made into a spirit.
About
The story
We started this journey back in 2022; with the idea for potato vodka always in the back of our minds the perfect opportunity presented itself when we found ourselves with a surplus of Yukon Gold – a variety that we suspected would perform well when put to the test. Spoiler alert, they were perfect. The vodka that these potatoes produced is clean, crisp and surprisingly fruity; a refined spirit made from some pretty special potatoes.
