A lovely waxy variety, Charlotte is delicious boiled or steamed and tossed in melted butter with fresh herbs. Perfect to accompany your main meal (or a tasty treat on their own!). You can also roast this variety if you would like to try something different. The waxy texture makes an interesting alternative to fluffy roasties and the sweet flavour brings a lightness to your meal.

About this variety

Bred in France, a cross of Hansa and Danae, grown in Kent.

Storing your potatoes

When you receive your potatoes we advise you keep them in cool, dark, dry, frost-free conditions during the winter months. Stored correctly they should keep well for up to a month.

In spring and summer you may prefer to refrigerate them. They'll try to grow once the warmer weather arrives, as we don't spray our potatoes with any sprout-inhibiting chemicals. Kept in the fridge they should last a couple of weeks.

A note on seed potatoes

All our varieties are grown from certified seed stock. If you'd like to grow your own, some of our varieties are available as seed potatoes in early spring - get in touch to find out what's available.

Delivery information

Orders are packed by hand in ventilated paper bags and dispatched via tracked courier. We aim to deliver within 1 to 2 working days
