Lily Rose is a beautiful red skinned and red-fleshed variety - although colouration depends on the weather conditions it has had over the growing season. Sometimes they can be white inside, a mixture or white and red or red all the way through. It has a waxy texture which when added with a purple and white variety makes a beautiful salad. It can be both boiled and steamed.

Storing your potatoes

When you receive your potatoes we advise you keep them in cool, dark, dry, frost-free conditions during the winter months. Stored correctly they should keep well for up to a month.

In spring and summer you may prefer to refrigerate them. They'll try to grow once the warmer weather arrives, as we don't spray our potatoes with any sprout-inhibiting chemicals. Kept in the fridge they should last a couple of weeks.

A note on seed potatoes

All our varieties are grown from certified seed stock. If you'd like to grow your own, some of our varieties are available as seed potatoes in early spring - get in touch to find out what's available.

Delivery information
