Belle de Fontenay


This variety originated in France in the late 19th century and is best known for its smooth, buttery taste. With a thin yellow skin and a firm, waxy, yellow flesh these potatoes are ideal for salads and can be enjoyed hot or cold, boiled or steamed. They are also delicious sautéed or crushed as they will absorb any additional flavours added to them.
