Shetland Black


Shetland Black have a purple skin and once cut open you will find a yellow creamy flesh with a purple ring around the edge, although you may find that this purple ring disappears during the cooking process.

Great for making roasties and they sauté really well.

The flavour is subtle but buttery.

As they are a floury variety you will find that they soak up the flavours from your sauces and gravies really well which adds to their taste.
